Overview
Altera is the INT-aligned scientist of Jankenmura, the person players look for when eggs, boosters, compatibility, or strange fighter behavior need an answer that is more useful than village gossip.
Her family migrated from the northern Snowlands five years ago, making her a transfer student during the same school years that shaped Asuka, Featherman, Ginko, and the rest of the village gang. She arrived with cold-weather habits, careful notebooks, and a bright curiosity that made even ordinary chores feel like experiments.
Most days, Altera is bubbly, warm, playful, and easy to approach. Once she locks onto a research question, though, her smile narrows into serious focus. That switch is why everyone trusts her with dangerous science and also why nobody wants to be the person who moved her samples.
Personality
Altera is cheerful, affectionate, book-smart, and lightly flirtatious in a warm youthful way. She likes making people comfortable before asking impossible questions, and no story is too strange for her to take seriously. Arguments and battles are not her thing: when voices rise she goes quiet, offers snacks, and wins the debate a day later with a very polite chart. She is famously an indoor creature from a comfortable Snowlands scholar family — she will complain about a ten-minute hike, then cross a frozen ridge without blinking if a rare egg waits on the other side, and she pouts like a thundercloud when someone says no to new lab equipment or dessert. Tease her about science and she teases right back; compliment Altera herself, though, and the confident scientist suddenly hides behind her clipboard. Her serious side appears when study begins: she becomes precise, direct, and almost impossible to distract until the theory either works or explodes safely in the correct container.

Story
Transfer From the Snowlands
Altera moved to Jankenmura from the northern Snowlands about five years ago. As a transfer student, she stood out immediately: small-framed, sunny, brilliant, and always carrying notes that looked too serious for someone smiling that much.
The Classmate Incident
She became Asuka's best friend until a classmate joked that Altera and Featherman looked better together. Asuka reflex-punched the guy through a wall, shocking herself as much as everyone else. After that, Asuka and Altera stayed friendly, but their bond became more casual and careful around Featherman.
Current Arc
Altera now anchors the team's scientific side: breeding stations, booster studies, egg safety, and strange observations from every corner of Jankenmura. She is the one smiling beside the incubator while quietly noticing three things nobody else saw.
Relationships
Asuka
Her former best friend from transfer-student days and the person most likely to turn a harmless classroom rumor into property damage. They still care about each other, but Featherman made the friendship more complicated.
Featherman
A childhood classmate from the Jankenmura school years. Their easy chemistry became village gossip, which accidentally pushed Altera into the romantic triangle Asuka wishes everyone would stop noticing.
Ginko
A good friend for intellectual conversations. Ginko approaches problems through DEX, markets, and execution, while Altera approaches them through INT, experiments, and theory. Their debates are gentle but very hard to win.
Roll
