Capacity
Each player can own up to 5 farmlands. New players start with one Small Plains farmland called Prairie Patch.
Owned fighters do not consume farmland space. Planted crops use 1 space each. Grazing fighters use 2 spaces each.
Farmlands are your agricultural base and territorial footprint. They grow crops, produce seeds, restore soil through grazing, and increase roster capacity.

|---|---|---|

| Large | 45 | 9 fighters |

Plains are neutral. Other terrains specialize in one fastest stat, one strong stat, two normal stats, one slight stat, and one blocked stat.
If soil reaches 0, all plants on that farmland are destroyed and a notice plus game log records the loss.
Assign your fighters to graze on farmlands to restore soil quality. A grazing fighter consumes 2 capacity spaces on the farmland.
Soil quality cannot exceed the farmland's Max Soil Quality limit.
Grazing on elemental farmlands trains your fighter in a specific favored stat after a 6-tick (1 hour) settle-in period:
EXP gained per tick based on farm size: Small: 2 EXP, Medium: 3 EXP, Large: 4 EXP, XL: 5 EXP.
Plains (Neutral) Grazing: Plains have no favored stat. Instead, grazing here grants 1 EXP in a randomly chosen stat, rolled multiple times per tick based on farm size: Small: 3 rolls (3 EXP), Medium: 4 rolls (4 EXP), Large: 5 rolls (5 EXP), XL: 6 rolls (6 EXP) per tick.

For slightly compatible crops, only the crop's secondary stat currently qualifies it for planting. Tertiary stat does not count. Crop names are sorted alphabetically inside each terrain row.

Planting consumes seeds immediately. Each planted seed uses 1 space and appears as a sapling. After 1 game day of growth, it becomes harvestable unless terrain compatibility changes the duration.
You can destroy a planted crop to free space, but it returns no crop and no seed.
Small farms have 20 capacity and 6,000 max soil quality. With 20 planted crops, soil drains for 300 ticks. At default tick speed, that is 50 real-world hours. If soil reaches 0, all plants are destroyed and the player receives a notice plus game log.
